Alstom Transport have recently taken delivery of 2 of Wilmat’s Stand on Tow Tractors at their new Widnes facility. The units are used for transporting bespoke storage trollies carrying train roof components, to detail paint booths where components are prepped and re-painted as part of the Class 390 Re paint project.
Kevin Jones, Alstom’s Industrialisation Engineer said ‘The Wilmat Tow Tractors allow material to be moved around the facility efficiently and safely ensuring production targets are met. Alstom have been working with Wilmat for many years although this was my first time. I found Wilmat to be receptive and understanding of the requirements and needs of the project. Good communication was established during the whole process’
