Network Rail who own, operates and develops Britain’s railway infrastructure contacted Wilmat as they had a
requirement for 2 off additional Wilmat ‘Bulldog’ Pedestrian Operated Counterbalanced Stacking Trucks after using Wilmat trucks for many years.
The trucks will be used at Network Rails smaller depots for lifting pallets and plant equipment on to the back of vehicles to alleviate manual handling.
Steven Smith, Network Rails Stores Co-Ordinator said ‘The huge benefit is that our stores staff can work safer.
Network Rail are having a big push on reducing manual handling and these pallet lifters go a long way in doing that, especially at our smaller depots where a conventional fork lift truck is too big for the site’
Steven continued ‘I found Wilmat’s customer service exceptional right from the start. We were also kept updated regularly on how the orders were progressing’.
