We’re still bucking national trends with strong sales this year after reporting our busiest ever December, traditionally our quietest month of the year.
At the end of 2012, when many manufacturers were reporting a fall in orders, we’ve seen the value of sales leap to more than £200,000 compared to around £30,000 in the same month in 2011.
Although the upturn reflects the quality of our materials handling and lifting equipment, we think a renewed interest in British-made products is a contributory factor.
In recent years we’ve seen a lot of cheap imports entering the market and they may have looked an attractive proposition for firms during the recession.
However, in many cases, these imported products just don’t stand the test of time and fail to offer good value for money in the longer term.
British firms have the ability to react quickly to the needs of the market and we can also provide bespoke equipment for customers.
All our products are designed and manufactured here in Birmingham by skilled staff and their expertise has been crucial to our success.
