Ivor Searle recently purchased a new Wilmat Hand Pushed Battery Lift Stacking Truck which is primarily used for the storage and picking of finished gearboxes.
Elliot Smart, Ivor Searle’s Production Manager said ‘We recently had a new mezzanine floor installed and all finished stock is stored upstairs. The new truck has given us the capability of fully utilising the height of the building and enabled us to fit higher shelves, which has meant being able to store an extra 120-160 gearboxes per rack. The pallets that
the gearboxes are stored on are quite narrow so we needed a special fork configuration Elliot continued ‘We have been using Wilmat for the past 20 years. We found the process of working with Wilmat to be Simple, straightforward, polite and cost effective compared to other suppliers’
