John Guest Limited, a specialist in the manufacture of push-in fittings, pipe & plastic plumbing systems, have recently taken delivery of a New Wilmat Manual Reel Handler.
The unit was required for a new production line to safely transport reels from a fixed rack, transport and to safely load onto a coiler eliminating the manual lifting.
Mark Stevens, Moulding Manager at John Guest said ‘The reel handler is specifically designed to allow the operator to transport the reel safely to the process without having to manually lift. The frame is compact for use in restricted areas but is robust. Ease of handling is essential to ensure the operator can carry out the operation with minimal risk of injury or damage to the reel.
We have purchased several Wilmat products in the past which have all been reliable and given us long service. We were unable to source the reel handler to our requirements and I had to look no further than contacting Wilmat who were able to design and build a bespoke unit to our specification with minimal fuss.
